What you need to know about Aloe Ferox

Common Questions

  • Valuable natural sugars, vital for good health
  • Dietary fibre
  • Proteins
  • A large variety of minerals, of which the calcium and iron levels are to be noted.

The aloe flesh has quite a neutral taste. The bitterness is in the brown sap found between the skin and the white flesh. This brown sap contains aloin, a strong laxative, which is removed before the flesh is processed into Aloe 24/7 juices.

Aloe is long known to have beneficial properties in the form of vitamins, minerals, fibre etc. but it is only in very recent years that it has been proven that the main feature of aloe is its NATURAL SUGARS, which include several of the highly acclaimed GLYCONUTRIENTS.

Glyconutrients are 8 simple sugars that, in nature, are only found in fruit and vegetables that are ripened ON the plant. Because the majority of fruit and vegetables we buy these days are artificially ripened, our bodies are missing out on these sugars. The good news is that several of these sugars have been found in Aloe Ferox, which goes a long way to explaining the reputation that aloe has had for centuries as “magical”, “mythical”, “mysterious”, “natures medicine chest” etc. It worked, but nobody knew why!

They restore the cells in the body which suffer because of the LACK of these sugars, so that the cells can communicate with each other again, and help the body to heal itself, wherever needed. Cell to cell communication in the body is absolutely vital to good health.

Yes, the Aloe 24/7 is good for diabetics as it helps to moderate the “peaks and lows” of sugar in the body and therefore moderates the body’s production of insulin.

In the same way, as aloe applied to burns, sunburn, cuts and abrasions is known for its soothing and healing properties, it is equally effective if taken internally, for any “burning” or irritation or discomfort of the digestive tract. For example:

  • Indigestion
  • Heartburn
  • Reflux
  • Stomach ulcers
  • Irritable bowel syndrome
  • Colitis
  • Diverticulitis
  • Leaky Gut
  • Crohn’s disease
  • Constipation (although the Aloe 24/7 is NOT regarded as a laxative, it simply helps to keep the bowel regular.)

The raw organic aloe leaves are processed in such a way that the Aloe 24/7 drink is thick and syrup-like so it adheres to and coats the lining of the digestive tract, thereby giving the aloe’s active ingredients sufficient time to be effective, instead of simply passing straight through the body, like water.

Everybody is different, from height and weight, to general build, to metabolism. Consumers need to test the product for themselves, and find which amount and how often suits their needs best.

For example, if you are suffering from heartburn, you could take 20-50ml every half-hour until the discomfort subsides (for heartburn, this is usually almost instant!).

Most problems are best treated with “little and often” doses of the drink. This could be anything from 50ml every 2 hours for a day or two, to 100ml 3 times daily.

It is definitely very effective in this area, not so much as a laxative with instant results, but more as an everyday solution. The fibre and the gelatinous texture of the drink tend to ease the way for bowel movements, as well as helping to clear debris in the bowel (which could lead to diverticulitis) so that after taking the juice for a few days, you have regular, daily (easy) bowel movements, without any cramping or diarrhoea.

There are no known symptoms of “overdosing”, other than the possibility (in rare cases) of a slightly looser stool than usual. People have been known to drink a litre or more in a day for varying reasons, with no adverse side-effects whatsoever.

Definitely! Prevention is better than cure! Aloe 24/7 helps to build your immune system, keeps your bowel regular and generally keeps your body functioning well.

It is recommended that pregnant or lactating women consult with their doctor before consuming aloe juice.

Aloin is a component of the bitter sap found in aloe plants and is sold in crystal form in many pharmacies and health shops as a laxative. As such, it has been known to cause miscarriage, albeit in very rare cases.

Aloe 24/7 organic aloe juice does not contain aloin as the specific part of the plant which contains this sap (the part between the green skin and the white inner flesh) is removed before processing. However, it is strongly suggested that pregnant women check with their doctor before drinking the juice.
